Katrina Rogers- HEAD COACH Sprints/Hurdles/Relays/Jumps
Coach Rogers is the founder and head coach of Olympia Track Club. She has been involved with track and field since High School. Throughout her high school, college and masters career she has competed in several events: 100m hurdles, 200m, 400m, 4x400, 4x200, 4x100, SMR, DMR, High Jump, Long Jump and the Heptathlon. She is a USATF Level 2 Coach both Sprints/Hurdles/Relays and Jumps. In addition to running her own training and coaching business, she is the Jumps Coach at Castle View High School. She has a passion for track and field and loves to share her knowledge with her athletes. She believes in keeping things honest and straight forward and strives to create an environment where athletes can learn to own their actions, feelings and responses. She wants athletes to feel comfortable exploring who they are and their potential. It is her mission to make every athletes' experience the best it can be.
David Hoesly-Assistant Coach Hurdles
Coach Hoesly has spent the last 10 seasons as a high school coach in Colorado. He specialized in hurdling events and oversaw the sprint training for his program. He has coached many state qualifiers and multiple state finalists and state champions during his high school coaching career. His love for the sport developed while competing in junior high, high school and college in all running events from the 60 to the 1600 as well as the hurdles, long jump, and triple jump. He now continues to run by training for marathons and half marathons.
